Our client is Swiss pharmaceutical company specializing in dermatological treatments and skin care products.
They are currently searching for Lead Compounding Engineer to in charge for execution activities such as follow up on fulfilment; implementation; start-up/ validation; installation; commissioning; training of operators/ maintenance staff.
This position will be 12 months agency contract.
Working location : International Business Park
Working hour : 5 days

This position main responsibility is to ensures design, implementation and start-up phases of Compounding capital investment projects on the manufacturing site, following the investment project charter, design specifications and company’s standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Realizes the preliminary feasibility studies related to new Compounding capital investment projects
- Prepares the Compounding capital investments projects requests and elaborates the User Requirements Specifications linked to these projects
- Participates to the analyses and makes a comparison with the support of the Procurement Department between the different submissions received from the contractors / vendors
- Ensures a follow-up of the expenses involved in each Compounding capital investment projects
- Ensures design, implementation and start-up phases of Compounding capital investment projects
- Includes Environment, Safety and GMPs standards within all new Compounding capital investments projects management
- Prepares and animates regular communications about the Compounding project phases' progresses upon the defined milestones
- Elaborates the final reports requested at the closing gate of the Compounding projects
- Manages the tasks and duties given to the resources allocated to the different Compounding projects (including the coordination of the different contractors / vendors)
- Participates to select and qualify the different contractors / vendors for Compounding projects
- Hires, onboards, train, develops new internal / external resources allocated to Compounding projects
- Supervises and coordinates the activities of construction / installation related to Compounding projects
- Makes the link with all Support Departments and all Local Authorities Representatives to deliver the expected outcomes on time and according to the budget for Compounding projects
- Anticipates roadblocks, defines priorities, identifies and puts in place mitigation plans in case of issues
- Defines the objectives and makes the assessment of the works done by the resources allocated to the different Compounding projects
- Produces all requested documents related to new Compounding capital investment projects
- Is responsible for executing the Basic and Detailed Design phases (timing, costs, quality, URS respect) of new Compounding capital investment projects
- Plans and guarantees the execution of new equipment's FAT and SAT during the engineering stage of new Compounding projects
- Supports the Operation Start-up Leaders and their dedicated teams for all new Compounding capital investment projects

Requirements:

- Process industry (Pharmaceutical / Cosmetics) Rx / Cx GMPs knowledge
- Engineering + Manufacturing Project management
- Multi-disciplinary teams' management (including contractors / vendors management)
- New Compounding equipment design, installation & commissioning experience
- Multiple projects management in parallel
