Calypso Business Analyst

Singapore COMBUILDER PTE LTD Full time

This role aims to develop on the Calypso back office package, in project mode as well as maintenance, and to support the “run the bank” function. It requires a deep understanding of the nature of business operations, timing of activities & data flowing through internal and external systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyse enhancement requests for the repo business and new products.
- Propose solutions in collaboration with Architects.
- Specifications, workload estimates, planning, test scenarios, release documentation.
- Coordinate user acceptance tests.
- Monthly releases, following the team’s milestones for analysis, coding and testing.
- Support the release roadmap in production.
- Level 2 / 3 Application support
- Troubleshoot and fix issues/bugs.

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years’ work experience as a Calypso business analyst on Calypso back office.
- Recent work experience on Calypso versions v14 to v17 implementation project.
- In depth knowledge of Static Data, Workflows, Scheduled Task, Confirmations, Settlements, Messages / Swift messages, Positions, Accounting, Corporate action, Filters, Reporting Framework, Reconciliation features.
- Strong understanding of financial assets (repos, bonds, SLB, issuances) and trade lifecycle.
- Experience with regulatory reporting HRF, NORIA, MMSR.
- Experience in interfacing Calypso with external systems.
- Experience in implementing NR scenarios.
- Willing to do L3 Support if required
- DevOps : CI/CD implementation, GIT, Jenkins, RPA.
- Database: Oracle, Sybase, MongoBD.
- Infra: Docker, Kubernetes.
- Be able to work on Shift Timings (8 hours per shift; 9am to 630pm and 3pm to 12:30am).
- On-call rotation with team mates to cover night and week-end support.
