**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze enhancement requests related to the repo business and new products.
- Collaborate with Architects to propose effective solutions.
- Prepare specifications, estimate workloads, develop plans, and create test scenarios and release documentation.
- Coordinate and manage user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure monthly releases meet team milestones for analysis, coding, and testing.
- Support the production release roadmap.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues and bugs.
- Enhance operational processes for efficiency.
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members as needed.

What our client is looking for:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science / information technology / Programming & Systems Analysis / Science (Computer Studies)
- At least 5 years of experience as a Calypso Business Analyst, specializing in the Calypso back office
- Experience in Calypso versions v14 to v17
- Strong understanding of Static Data, Workflows, Scheduled Tasks, Confirmations, Settlements, Messaging/SWIFT, Positions, Accounting, Corporate Actions, Filters, Reporting Framework, and Reconciliation features
- Knowledge of financial assets (repos, bonds, SLB, issuances) and the trade lifecycle
- Experience with regulatory reporting such as HRF, NORIA, and MMSR
- Expertise in interfacing Calypso with external systems
- Hands-on experience in implementation projects
- Proven track record of working in Agile environments
- Experience in implementing NR scenarios.
- Willingness to provide L3 support when required.
- Open to participating in on-call rotations to cover night and weekend support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive approach to security.
- Ability to work independently under pressure.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Enthusiastic about collaborating with business users.
