**This senior role is accountable for APAC regional Business Excellence and Omnichannel initiatives and execution. The person will have a direct responsibility to drive a commercial excellence mindset and execution across the region, identifying opportunities for best practices in Sales Force Effectiveness, Business Intelligence & Omnichannel.**
**Main responsibilities / job expectations**
**APAC LT**
- As a member of the APAC LT, support the identification and prioritization of transformation programs that challenge and reshape the organization
- Working with key in-country leaders and stakeholders to optimise competitiveness and customer success
- Act as a key regional representative with Global HQ and senior leaders
**Regional Business Excellence & Omnichannel initiatives and Capabilities**
- Be a key player in upskilling of commercial capabilities in concert with key stakeholders e.g. GMs, in-country Business Excellence leads L&D, HR, Business Unit Heads (BUHs), Sales managers
- Act as commercial lead for any cross-brand projects/ways of working/process improvements including IQVIA, CRM and digital tools
- Challenge GMs to raise the standards of all their Business Excellence activities including metrics and delivery
- Be a key agent of change for raising standards of omnichannel strategy and execution across the region for superior customer execution; identifying and establishing the systems, processes and resources needed
- Champion KAM approach and help countries to develop KAM capabilities
- Create APAC Business Excellence community to deliver on region priorities
- Work with L&D to deliver key training programmes on business priorities in concert with team
- Ensure the highest standards of Business Intelligence, Sales and Market Analysis, Reporting and Communication
- Ensure the maximum value is obtained from the CRM system and identify needed resources to improve its effectiveness
**Knowledge, abilities & experience**
**Education / Certifications**:
- Scientific or Business Degree
- Ideally - Business qualification e.g. MBA or certificate
**Experience**:
- Successful history of leadership of teams
- Extensive commercial pharma experience as a BUD, sales & marketing leader or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of and deployment experience in Commercial Excellence (SFE, CRM, IQVIA)
- Experience working in and across countries, preferably Asia Pacific
- Proven skills to collaborate and influence senior leaders including GMs
- Specialty care (ideally oncology/rare disease) experience including HCP contact
**Languages**:
- English fluency - written & spoken
- Any other languages beneficial across the region
**Key Technical Competencies Required**
- Ability to project manage and coordinate complex initiatives
- Ability to work with IQVIA products, Veeva CRM (or similar), Dashboards and decision tools
- Problem-solving, managing complexity and high accountability
- Ability to successfully understand and work across different cultures
