The main responsibility for the Regional Security Director in Region Asia is to provide expert support to Saab operations, develop and maintain the security setup, and to manage security risks and incidents in the region.

The role as Regional Security Director will involve a lot of international travel, including travel to high-risk areas.

The role will be based in Singapore but will travel frequently in the region.

**The Regional Security Director will support our business operations within the following areas**:
**- Business Support**

**- Security Risk Management**

**- Incident & Crisis Management**

**- Information Security**

**- Travel Security**

**- Site Security**

**- HR/Personnel Security
The Security Director will perform his/her duties with support from and in close cooperation with

Saab´s other security functions, as well as with other relevant functions, such as Group IT, Legal, Property etc. and our business operations.

**Relevant profile**:
The role requires good knowledge and extensive experience from international business operations and a good understanding of potential threats in our type of business.

To take on the challenge as acting Regional Security Director at Saab it is important to be a socially skilled person who has an easy way of making contacts and to cooperate inside and outside the company. It is necessary to be comfortable in taking decisions and have a high degree of integrity.

The role requires deep interest in security management and always being up to date about changes in legislation or requirements within the area of responsibility.

- **Knowledge and understanding for legal aspects, laws, regulations, standards and best practices relating to security**:

- **Absolutely trustworthy with high standards of ethics, personal integrity and willing to accept a background screening**:

- **Experience of incident and crisis management**:

- **Background from police, military, public or private security context**:

- **Management experience**:

- **High self-awareness especially regarding your personal strengths and weaknesses**:

- **Experience of working with security requirements, preferably both Swedish protective security requirements and international standards, such as ISO 27001**:

- **High ability to work independently and take initiatives
