**Job Summary**

To promote global branding and contribute to the sustainable enhancement of corporate value by transforming communications from a holistic and optimized perspective that covers the entire Mitsubishi Electric Group, with the corporate philosophy at the top, in order to win sympathy and build relationships with all stakeholders on a global scale. As a regional function in the Asia-Pacific region, promote corporate communications with the aim of building a consistent message and information dissemination system for the Mitsubishi Electric Group.

**Your Responsibility**

・ As the point of contact for the Corporate Communications Division at the Japan HQ, responsible for implementing strategic information dissemination in collaboration with Asia-Pacific group companies in order to implement global branding, as well as formulating and implementing branding strategies for Southeast Asia, South Asia and Oceania.

・ Liaison with Corporate Communications Division (Corporate Communications Department/Advertising Department) at Head Office in Japan

・ Coordination of corporate communications and marketing communications staff in the APAC region

・ Support of public relations and advertising activities for the Mitsubishi Electric Group in the APAC region

・ Introduce/educate the local brand management and communication risk management in the APAC region

・ Build relationships with media companies in the APAC region, including Japanese companies

・ Management of owned media in the APAC region (website/social media/various offline tools)

・ Publishing catalogs and PR magazines for group companies in the APAC region

・ Support for introduction/utilization of digital marketing and support for major exhibitions at group companies in the APAC region

・ Support for the development of management plans within MEAP, support for executive management meetings, exchange of opinions with embassies/associations of commerce and industry, contribution to the local community and external activities such as Japanese associations, etc.

**Your Profile**

1. Experience in brand strategy/public relations strategy/communications strategy/owned media management (communications department at a company/public relations firm/advertising firm/production company, etc.). At least 8 years of experience working in both advertising companies and advertising-related divisions of business companies.

2. Experience at other companies is essential for immediate execution of global branding in Asia. It is desirable to have both perspectives from the perspective of an advertising company that receives orders for advertising work and from the perspective of a business company that places orders for advertising work.

3. Proeficient in English and Japanese to communicate with staff in HQ, U.K, U.S. and media in Japan for meetings, preparation of documents, negotiation and coordination.

4. Experience as a project leader is essential, as the work must be executed through project management in collaboration with multiple partner companies.

5. Experience and knowledge managing & creating website & social media

6. Experience in digital marketing using CRM such as Salesforce is required as the company is implementing digital marketing initiatives to support collaborative sales in Asia.

7. Experience in advertising department operations not only in the country of residence but also in other regions and in global operations is essential, as the company has operations not only in Singapore but also in all of Southeast Asia and globally.

8. Budget management, estimates, invoice confirmation, and company-wide profit/loss status monitoring. Budget management is an essential part of business operations, and estimates/invoices from partner companies must be checked in detail. In addition, it is also required to make plans in consideration of company-wide profit and loss.

9. Able to travel and be flexible as will required to travel based on project status and at the direction of headquarters.

10. Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing or other relevant studies
