1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Project Management Officer will tackle project portfolios and management control topics in order to improve the KPIs as well as the client relationship quality.

The Project Management Officer might be asked to work on transversal projects. He/she supports the preparation of project plans and assists the Project Director/Chief Executive in steering the project. He/she coordinates and monitors the progress of key project milestones and deliverables with the project stakeholders. He/she compiles and reports on them to the project manager / program director. He/she also plays a key role in terms of communication with project stakeholders.

In terms of organization, the Project Management Officer develops a common set of practices, principles, and templates for project management and ensures that they are followed by conducting regular controls. He/she will work on department’s process optimization.

He / she will co-lead the methdolody and potentially lead the project methodology of Azqore.

2. PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
DIPLOMA/Bachelor's Degree/Masters

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Experience in IT project portfolios in a multicultural context

Experience in leading transversal initiatives and project methodology

Knowledge of a core banking system is highly appreciated

BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of project management

3. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organizational, management and implementation activities:

- Manage the project portfolio
- Support teams on project management methodology (co-lead)
- Produce the reports necessary to manage the Build activity
- Optimization and automation process: propose and support organizational changes aimed at improving efficiency and performance
- Communication:

- Work closely with project teams as well as management
- Gather project data and produce reporting for management review
- Support the delivery and project managers in the preparation of the weekly progress report and presentations to the steering committee;
- Financial and control activities:

- Monitor and manage the budget envelope of the portfolio of projects
- Guarantee the profitability of the project(s), return on investment, productivity
- The Project Management Officer tracks project status based on updates from project stakeholders
- Track project risks and mitigation measure
