**Application Developer**

ACIA’s Climate Risk Advisory team is currently looking for Application Developer to help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of expanding the delivery capabilities of our analytics solutions, which serves the needs of the firm’s clients and consultants worldwide. This role provides great exposure to the business, and the opportunity to take part in product development/implementation, training and support.

**What the day will look like**

As the Application Developer/Architect some of your key responsibilities will involve:

- Work alongside the Development Team Leads during the development process to ensure project design is being followed, assist in solving issues facing the team.
- Conduct discovery and lead software solution development using Azure Cloud.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- Experience in C# development, Azure Cloud, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Microsoft SQL Server databases
- Other languages a plus (C/C++, Python, R)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related technical field
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong time and project management and organization skills
- Proven resilience and maturity in resolving process and project issues
- Critical thinker and problem solver
- Continuous Integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) experience
- Experience working in an agile software development environment
