JR47731 INTERN - ULTRA PURE WATER & WASTEWATER ENGINEER

**Project Title**:Sustainability Project - Fluoride Wastewater Recycling Pilot Plant

**Project Description and Scope**: Understudy and contribute to Fluoride Wastewater Recycling Pilot Plant design, construction, testing & commissioning.

**Aim and details of the project**: Improve Micron F10 Recycling Rate % to achieve Micron water saving target. Construct a pilot plant to recycle Fluoride waste to determine feasibility of design for future full scale plant.

**Learning Opportunities**:

- Project Management, Process and Engineering System design
- Operation - Understand the concept of Ultrapure Water & Wastewater Operation. Perform simple troubleshooting together with Engineer on system issues. Carry out system capacity study/tracking, recycling flow tracking and various engineering database tracking.
- Maintenance - Understand the concept of Ultrapure Water & Wastewater Maintenance Program to ensure system reliability and robustness. Perform all work in accordance with safety guidelines and Standard Operating Procedure

**Deliverables**:Presentation of Pilot Plant Project and future Operation/Maintenance aspect of full scale plant

**Skillset Require**:

- Passionate about water treatment technology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Self motivated worker
- Posses good team working and multi-tasking capabilities

**Target Courses**:Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering

**Duration Period**:min 5 months (Semester Internship from August to December)
