**About the Team**:

- We are responsible for the design and implementation of the Shopee Configuration Centre. Shopee Configuration Center is the configuration management platform for backend programs and helps our development teams manage the configuration of different environments and regions centrally. Join us, by providing great technical features, and support the developers and Site Reliability Engineers to reduce and prevent errors as well as manage configuration risk, to support our fast-growing business.- Design and develop high performance, high availability components and distribution facility for Shopee Configuration Centre.
- Design and develop architectures that provide high availability and support disaster recovery for global multi-region infrastructure.
- Write high-quality, clean, elegant, and maintainable code.
- Understand the technical platform, constantly optimize services, identify and fix problems, improve usability, stability, and reliability.
- Solve challenging and complex project problems and issues.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- In-depth understanding of computer science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms, operating systems, networks, databases, etc.
- Strong hands-on experience with at least one of the programming languages: Go, C++, Java.
- Familiarity with Linux development environments and multi-threading programming.
- Familiarity with common network protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP) and network programming.
- Experiences in understanding and developing database systems.
- Experiences in design and development of large-scale distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Apollo, Nacos, etcd, consul, etc. (preferred)
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, Kubernetes, and Istio. (preferred)
- Contribution to open-source projects. (preferred)
