Based out of our Singapour office, you will be part of a dynamic, fast-growing, and high-performance team. You will work closely with the Investments team to implement and execute the company’s investment strategies in the region, both within existing partnerships and through the creation of new ones. You will serve as a contact person for the preparation and preliminary evaluation of real estate transactions. You will play an active role in monitoring the business plan and ensuring adherence to the budgets for each asset, from acquisition to disposition. Finally, you will be expected to liaise with partners, managers and other stakeholders on a regular basis. Main responsibilities will include:

- Assist the Head of Investments in analysing real estate investment opportunities;
- Create, review and analyse financial models for acquisitions, dispositions and hold-sell analysis;
- Analyse financial and market data to help establish return forecasts for new acquisitions and existing investments;
- Contribute to identifying risks related to each new transaction;
- Contribute to the due diligence process for acquisition projects and follow up on external reports;
- Review various documents related to transactions and adjust preliminary analyses accordingly to provide up-to-date information on transaction returns (contracts, leases, financial analyses, etc.);
- Work with partners and external stakeholders to analyze operational budgets, financial statements for potential investment projects and potential partnership structures;
- Research, summarize and analyze the real estate market by type of asset and geographical location for target markets and asset classes;
- Draft transaction summaries and liaise with other departments in this regard;
- Prepare investment and disposition proposals for the boards of Ivanhoé Cambridge and the Caisse de Dépôt et placement du Québec as well as for various internal committees;
- Maintain and share with other team members a general knowledge of the portfolio’s target markets;
- Analyze and track market values in the real estate and investment sector;
- Assist the team with asset management activities in order to maximize returns and ensure the ventures comply with governance requirements and the terms of investment agreements;
- Assist in the analysis of monthly/quarterly financial and management reports with respect to acquisition proformas and approved budgets; bring comments and questions about property operations and/or partnership considerations to the attention of various stakeholders;
- Provide _ad hoc_ analysis on various items impacting existing asset and potential future investments.

**The toolbox we are looking for **:

- Master’s degree in a related discipline would be a plus;
- Three to five years of relevant experience;
- Keen interest in the real estate investment field;
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills;
- Ability to establish solid ties with internal and external stakeholders;
- Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin; strong writing skills; knowledge of French a plus;
- Ability to travel locally and internationally on regular and frequent basis;
- Availability to work flexible hours, and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
- Critical thinker, dynamic, outgoing and detail-oriented;
- Highly motivated, dynamic, self-starter.
