Responsibilities
- Lead the commissioning of new data center projects and system upgrades, ensuring that all

electrical and mechanical components are functioning at optimal performance.
- Manage the commissioning project lifecycle from inception to completion, including the

development of commissioning plans, coordination of activities, and documentation of systems

performance.
- Utilize project management tools to track project progress, budget, and timelines, ensuring that all

aspects of the commissioning process are executed as planned.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all commissioning activities, liaising with contractors,

engineers, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
- Conduct training sessions for operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from commissioning

to full operational status.
- Oversee the quality assurance and control procedures, ensuring adherence to industry standards

and best practices in commissioning.
- Develop and mentor commissioning team members, promoting continuous improvement and

professional development within the team.
- Establish and maintain robust client relationships, ensuring that commissioning activities meet client

expectations and contractual requirements.
- Facilitate effective internal communication strategies to keep all stakeholders informed on

commissioning activities, progress, and issues.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on commissioning status, including performance

metrics, to senior management and clients to support decision-making and continuous

improvement initiatives.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification in a relevant discipline.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management qualification.
- Extensive experience in the installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of electrical and

mechanical systems, with a focus on efficiency and reliability.
- Demonstrated expertise in data centre commissioning, with a keen understanding of the unique

operational demands of such environments.
- Competence in project management tools, capable of effectively generating programs, schedules, and managing costs to meet project objectives.
- Strong leadership skills with proven experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a commissioning or relevant role within the data centre or mission critical facilities sector.
- In-depth knowledge of large-scale data centers' mechanical and electrical infrastructure systems.
- Flexibility to travel as needed for project execution and operational requirements
