Singapore EVERGREEN MARINE (ASIA) PTE. LTD. Full time

We are seeking a highly motivated and competent individual for this position. This position primarily responsible for overseeing the technical and operational aspects of a company's ship fleet, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency. They are responsible for managing technical issues, maintaining vessels, and collaborating with various stakeholders, including ship owners, crew, and vendors.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for handling of all work instructions from headquarter in Taiwan including inspection, audit and survey.
- Ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols, such as ISM code and classification rules.
- Liaise with Classification Societies (ABS, NK, LR, RINA etc.), Flag State (Panama, Singapore, UK) Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) and Port of Singapore Authority (PSA).
- Conducting regular inspections to ensure the seaworthiness and compliance of vessels.
- Assessing and managing risks associated with vessel operations, including safety, security, and environmental concerns.
- Maintaining relationships with ship owners, charterers, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct vessel audit. Develop, manage and audit local vendors and suppliers in Singapore and Malaysia.
- Onboard inspection of equipment to improve fleet management and ship condition.
- Provide training and education to crew members.
- Undertake all kinds of urgent cases and on-site attendance.

**Requirements**:

- Educational Qualification - Master Degree in Marine Engineering or equivalent
- Superintendent engineer of containerships with minimum 15 years of experience.
- Excellent written and communication skills with headquarter in Taiwan.
- Excellent time management skills and able to prioritize.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team.
- Physical ability to perform audit onboard ships.
- Able to travel within short notice on board for ships visits regularly.
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Possess class 3 driving license
