The ITTF Event Director will be responsible for the strategic vision, growth, and delivery of ITTF’s event portfolio. This includes ensuring world-class execution of key events within the ITTF calendar. The Event Director will drive innovation, maximize stakeholder engagement, and oversee sustainable financial outcomes for ITTF events. This role is pivotal in enhancing ITTF's global visibility and inspiring grassroots participation.

Table tennis is a fast-paced and thrilling sport that has captivated billions. Youth, Senior Para, Masters—the ITTF nurtures the next generation and crowns World Champions. Table tennis is also featured in all multisport games, including the Summer Olympics and Paralympics.

**JOB TITLE**:ITTF Event Director

**LOCATION**:Remote or based out of our Singapore Office.

**REPORTS TO**: ITTF Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Strategic Event Development**
- Develop and implement the vision and growth strategy for ITTF’s event properties, including working closely with World Table Tennis (WTT) to ensure strong collaboration for the success of both entities.
- Collaborate with Member Associations, Continental Federations and stakeholders to create a clear and cohesive event calendar.
- Preserve and enhance Olympic status through strategic planning and execution of qualifying events.Lead, manage and grow the World Title Events including but not limited to World Table Tennis Championships, World Cups and World Youth Championships.

**Event Operations and Delivery**
- Oversee with the support of WTT the seamless execution of ITTF events, ensuring compliance with international standards.
- Strengthen the alignment with Continental Championships and their qualification process to all World Title events to boost Member Association participation and ensure a clear pathway from start to becoming event champion.Ensure all ITTF events leave a lasting legacy and inspire grassroots participation.

**Stakeholder Engagement and Leadership**
- Foster strong relationships with Local organizing Committees.
- Manage and guide the Events Department staff, ensuring alignment with ITTF’s strategic objectives.Act as the key point of contact for the ITTF Executive Board and CEO regarding all ITTF event matters.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Sports Administration, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience (7-10 years) in managing large-scale international sports events.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Strong financial acumen, including budget development and revenue generation.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.Passion for table tennis and knowledge of its international landscape.
