**Position Overview**:
The Sales Merchandiser will play a critical role in driving sales, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring that the company's fire protection and construction products are effectively marketed and displayed. The role requires a combination of sales acumen, technical knowledge, and relationship management skills to meet sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sales & Business Development**:Promote and sell fire protection and construction products to contractors, architects, and project managers.
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction sector.
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- **Customer Relationship Management**:Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Conduct regular site visits and follow up on ongoing projects to ensure customer satisfaction.
- **Merchandising & Product Presentation**:Ensure proper display and arrangement of products in retail or showroom environments.
Train retail staff on product features, benefits, and usage.
Stay updated on market trends and competitor products to optimize merchandising strategies.
- **Technical Knowledge & Support**:Provide clients with technical information and specifications about fire protection systems and construction products.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for potential customers.
Assist clients in selecting products that meet their project requirements.
- **Market Analysis & Reporting**:Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and sales data to inform sales strategies.
Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and customer feedback to management.
Monitor competitors’ activities and suggest adjustments to the sales approach.
- **Compliance & Coordination**:Ensure adherence to safety standards and industry regulations related to fire protection systems.
Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, production, and procurement) to ensure timely delivery and inventory availability.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in sales or merchandising, preferably in the fire protection or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety systems, construction materials, or related technical products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

**Work Environment**:
