**Technical Director (Plastics)**
Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, the incumbent main responsibilities are as follows:
1. Providing technical support to the Business Development Team on potential plastics recycling projects.
2. Carrying out technical feasibility studies for potential projects including the assessment of site location and conditions, feedstock availability, utility availability, treatment/production technologies, and other parameters.
3. Identifying suitable technologies and plant suppliers, and carrying out plant design with detailed specifications for plant and equipment performance.
5. Establishing testing and commissioning, and plant performance test methods and procedures.
6. Ensuring compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
7. Preparing tenders, request for proposals, contract documents, or service agreements for various stakeholders.
8. Interacting with internal departments for the smooth initiation, implementation and ensuring the success of the plant.
10. Budgetary and control of costs.
**Requirements**:
1. Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering from a local or accredited university.
2. Ten or more years of field and project planning and implementation experience. Experience in plastics recycling projects is a must.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
4. The ability to work in a multicultural environment and manage multiple disciplinary teams.
5. Proven excellent project management and supervision skills.
6. Willing to travel within South East Asian countries for implementing new projects.
