Roles & Responsibilities

Our Experience Design team creates intuitive, engaging experiences that bring utility, excellence and delight to users. They know how a product should look, feel and work, and are fluent at navigating the intersection between strategy, business goals and user needs. As an ACD on the Experience Design team you’ll work directly with different disciplines on the client side, switching between being hands-on and leading teams through all stages of a project—from discovery to definition to final production, coordinating closely with R/GA’s creative leadership.

Here’s what you should know if you want to be an ACD at R/GA:
On any given day you might
- Work with clients to identify strategic project goals and how to meet them.
- Leverage existing consumer insights or request necessary analysis to understand the value drivers for the consumer.
- Define interactive experiences that are useful to users and promote our client’s businesses.
- Identify key ideas to drive projects and how to implement them across multiple channels
- Help teams deliver concepts and designs in the form of information architecture, user journeys, wireframes, flows, prototypes (low and high fidelity).
- Be hands on with designs, at time helping teams push to delivery, at times helping define the bar for creative excellence through example.
- Work with visual designers to co-create design systems
- Present various aspects of the user experience to development teams and clients
- Track and monitor progress on development and quality of the experience

The ideal person
- Has proven design experience with examples of successfully launched projects that demonstrate strategic, conceptual and creative thinking
- Is exceptionally organized and able to switch between different projects in a fast-paced environment
- Understands interactive experiences, digital channels, and user-centered design principles
- Exemplifies grace under pressure
- Has exceptional presentation and written communication skills
- Is a natural leader and comfortable working directly with teammates and clients
- Brings both digital product and service design experience
- Has experience working in lean and/or agile environments

You bring
- 7+ years’ experience in Experience Design or related discipline
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates your attention to detail and problem solving capability.
- Proficiency in UI tools for design, presentation and prototyping including Figma, Sketch, the Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, Principle, Keynote and Google Slides
