**We are recruiting for an experienced Discipline Master to lead and supervise Disciplinary Services in a Polytechnic under the Office of Student and Graduate Affairs (OSG).
**The duties of the DM are**:

- To investigate and handle issues/concerns arising from student disciplinary-related matters in the tertiary institution.
- The DMs will oversee the operations for all student disciplinary matters and to intervene / deal with student-related disciplinary infractions.
- The role of the DMs will be one of Case Managers, undertaking discipline related cases at inception, following through with interviews and investigations, before presenting their findings to the Poly Student Discipline Committee (SDC) or any other forums as decided by School's Board. They will also ensure that sanctions imposed on students are meted, and students involved are followed up after being disciplined.
- Following up with student offenders through counselling, and obtaining feedback on student progress from academic staff.
- Referring students to other internal and/or external agencies for further assistance (if required).
- Supporting both the School SDC and school's staff in student-related discipline/emergency situations on campus.
- Work closely with RP to assist in the review of all discipline related procedures/programmes.
- Work closely with RP to coordinate RP’s Crisis Management operations (e.g. Crisis Management Exercise, Community Engagement Programme) Act as RP’s liaison officer to external agencies such as CNB, NParks, SPF, SCDF & NEA.
- Experience as Ex-Singapore Police Force (SPF), Prisons or Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) Officer will be an advantage.
- Prior experience working in a similar capacity in education institutions will be an advantage.
- Well-groomed and able to converse well in English.
- Medically and physically fit.
- Must have at least 1 year experience in investigation operations.
- Competent in Microsoft Office, and willing to learn other IT skills.
- Willing to work with youth.
- Have valid standard first-aid certification with CPR-AED.
- Prior experience in mentoring students/youth is preferred.
- Must have at least 1 year experience in Case Management work with students. Relevant qualification and/or experience in the field of counselling (mínimally para-counsellor) will be an advantage.
