**What the role is**
- The Intellectual Property Policy Division (IPPD) oversees and develops Singapore’s intellectual property (IP) policies and strategies, to encourage and support innovation and creativity.

**What you will be working on**
- During the course of your work, you will collaborate closely with other Singapore Government agencies on cross-agency issues, and interact regularly with the private sector and academia. You will also have the opportunity to interact with counterparts in other governments, IP offices and IP organisations, as well as international bodies such as the World Intellectual Property Organization. Work areas broadly include: - Developing and reviewing IP policies and laws to support businesses, innovators, and the creative community. - Developing Singapore’s IP services ecosystem, such as IP prosecution, management, transaction and dispute resolution. - Safeguarding and advancing Singapore’s interests abroad by participating in international negotiations and meetings. - Coordinating IP enforcement issues amongst Singapore Government agencies. - Maintaining a conducive environment for international IP activities to flourish in Singapore.

**What we are looking for**
- Knowledge of IP laws and experience in IP work will be an advantage. - Good research skills, a keen eye for detail and an analytical mind. - Good collaboration, communication and presentation skills. - Interest in innovation and emerging technologies.
