Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
- Reporting to the Senior Director DTC South-East Asia, this role is responsible for supporting sustainable and profitable Retail & Franchise channel growth, via a seamless consumer experience through the definition / implementation of operating models, tools and training that increase productivity, profitability, and decreases complexity, ensuring corporate compliance at a country level, within the guidelines of the Global / EM and SEA cluster DTC team.- Key Responsibilities:

- Support the Senior Director DTC SEA with the implementation of aligned operational strategies across the cluster, in full alignment with the local SLT and EM initiatives.
- Meaningful and measurable support that helps achieved agreed SEA KPI’s for net sales and profitability, by executing retail relevant processes to drive productivity, the retail formula, and control of costs.
- Define with both EM and Cluster channel leadership a way of working that balances market level priorities landing them in a locally relevant way, and in the process ensuring local teams feel upskilled and empowered to optimize the business in each country.
- Act as a point of contact for SEA country teams; both retail heads and their field leaders on all operational, trading and compliance related initiatives.
- Escalate areas of strength and opportunities to line leader to determine mitigation plans or the scaling of best practice to ensure that risks are addressed and financial objectives are meant proactively.
- Influence market procedures by sharing country level feedback, as needed, and / or recommend adjustments to market initiatives to ensure these are timely, and land in a relevant way in the local country environment.
- Work with the Asst. Manager Trading & Implementation on pilots and rollouts that help enhance both our consumer experience, digital and omni-channel capabilities to unearth new commercial opportunities.
- Deliver a harmonized way of working across SEA countries that reclaims the gift of time and helps ensure we continue to put the consumer at the heart of everything we do.
- Create and drive a high-performance culture by:
- Being physically and digitally present for country teams, supporting them in meaningful ways that also reinforce the purpose and value add of the cluster team.
- Evaluate the competencies of equivalent team members in countries, providing feedback and suggestions on areas of focus and improvement to drive high(er) performance.
- Understand where and who our talents are within the retail channel and work to ensure these people are given opportunities to thrive, grow their career and have the biggest impact possible.
- Ensure the time is taken to translate company and market objectives, contextualizing the rationale behind the choices we need to make and targets we need to achieve.
- Control and monitor performance and results, helping to set clear expectations in the process and analyze store, format and country performance, holding country retail teams accountable in the process.
- Ground focuses on the 5 Ps; people, product, process, premises and profit to continuously maximise profitability from the store portfolio.
- Work cross functionally with other SEA retail teams/ team members, the wider SEA cluster and equivalent functional stakeholders at a market level
- Support internal control and audit on compliance related topics, communicating and tracking performance of SEA countries accordingly.
- Support line manager and countries to control inventory levels and recommend ways to liquidate excess that continues to optimize margin and respects our franchise management strategies.
- Ensure that operational costs, PEX and so on., are well planned and well deployed to support the optimization of conversion and the retail formula.
- Franchise:
- Support the line manager to translate business growth objectives for the various channels, in this case, Franchise, into actionable plans delivering the best possible results.
- Work with local country DTC teams to understand and ensure ways of working with Franchise are synthesized with own retail, driving comparable levels of productivity and consumer experience
- Monitor sales and the achievement of targets, assess new commercial opportunities for driving growth by country/ by partner
- Work with Marketplace Expansion team to ensure our franchise portfolio, reach and composition of stores is being optimized.
- Support line manager and local country teams with the assessment of existing and potentially new partners with the capabilities to grow the business in a sustainable and productive way
- Support the communication of new franchise related initiatives to country teams following up to ensure consistent execution
- Provide consultancy across all retail functions where necessary to facilitate franchise partners needs, and ensure franchise is being given equal exposure and support in the process
