**Data Solutions & Services**

You will help to design and lead strategic data solutions build-out to support our public markets investment capabilities. You will also conduct research and manage the implementation of data services for all investment strategies and new product lines, through the establishment of strategic partnerships and foster best practices in operating and service models.

You will be part of a team that is an integrated investment service team that partners the business in providing services to support public markets investment.

Investment Data Solutions & Analytics (IDSA) team builds Process Automation Solutions for all of ISPM’s teams with the purpose of increasing efficiency and reducing operational risk. We also enable our operations teams for enhanced decision-making by providing cutting edge and innovative Operational Analytics and Insights capabilities. The team uses Python as the tool of choice for these solutions, incorporating ML/AI models, data pipelines and web frameworks for visualization. We work closely with our enterprise technology departments in building these solutions with a product-centric approach. We also align to GIC’s overall enterprise objective by interfacing with both Front Office and Risk & Performance teams in various forums to contribute to enterprise Initiatives.

The IDSA team comprises of highly motivated members with functional exposure in investment operations, technical expertise in programming, ML/AI solution modeling, advanced data analytics and data visualization. We are seeking to hire a technically competent, hands-on and functionally knowledgeable individual to join our team to add value to the team’s capabilities.

**What will you do as an Associate, Investment Data Solutions & Analytics?**
- Conduct detailed analysis on operations process, ideate and build solutions to enhance operations capabilities
- Take an agile and pragmatic approach in building such solutions and ensure quick time-to-market. Plan, document and implement such solutions in timely manner
- Analyze data sets to derive Operational Insights. Use statistical/data analytics tools to interpret data sets, and preparing reports that effectively communicate the trends, patterns, and predictions based on relevant findings
- Review and enhancement of existing solutions built by the team to incorporate possible new business requirements and capabilities
- Actively participate in teams ML/AI practice. Build, maintain and improve new and existing ML/AI model solutions to deliver operational efficiency and mitigate operational risk
- Play key role to partner with Technology and Data Solutions groups for deployment and maintenance of the solutions built by the team
- Manage the code deployment related process for the team in close co-ordination with our Technology Team
- Champion coding and testing best practices, deployment process and overall software engineering practices

**What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?**
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or Software Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in asset management/asset servicing/banking industry in Operations or Technology roles, with understanding of trade lifecycle and related investment and operational processes.
- Experience in Ideating and building innovative technology solutions to address business problems at both tactical and strategic levels.
- Ability to analyze data for drawing meaningful actionable insights.
- Hands on experience in developing Python based solutions and use of related frameworks including:

- Django and/or Flask web frameworks
- statistical, data analytics and visualization libraries and packages
- Hands on experience in Tableau based dashboard development.
- Experience designing, testing, implementing, and maintaining Machine Learning (ML) Models
- Experience using Snowflake and proficient in database concepts & SQL
- Hands on experience in Version control using Git and Deployment using CI/CD pipeline
- Working knowledge of JIRA, JavaScript will be an added advantage
