**About the role**

You provide oversight of the National Service (NS) Human Resource (HR) and Training administrative and management matters of the Flotilla/Squadron (SQN) within the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN).

**What you will be working on**
- Support Commanders' (both Flotilla and SQN) engagement efforts
- Assist in facilitating the organisation of cohesion activities by the units
- Serve as the familiar point of contact for NS unit commanders and NSmen in the Flotilla/SQN for matters pertaining to NS HR Administration, HR Management and Training
- Oversee NS Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the formation and develop targeted recommendations for improvements and enhancements
- Represent the formation's NS administration and engagement issues at RSN and SAF NS forums

**Challenge(s)**
- Working in a high-load environment with multiple stakeholders and high service delivery expectations
- Interfacing across multiple functions within the NS management system
- Pre-emptively and proactively meeting NSmen's needs to avoid disengagement
- Balancing unit operational requirements with minimising inconvenience to NSmen
- Resolving challenges diplomatically when balance cannot be achieved

**What we are looking for**
- At least 6 years of relevant experience
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Proficient stakeholder management abilities
- Prior military experience is advantageous
- Understanding of NS policies and procedures
