**Job Summary**:
The Executive - Business Development is responsible for business development, managing key accounts, marketing, sales of both broad-based and niche logistics services including performing market research, prospecting, developing relationships with potential customers and meeting sales targets.
He/she is responsible for analysing customers’ requirements and supporting implementation of solutions.
He/she is responsible for gathering requirements from internal and external stakeholders, planning and implementing logistics projects, in the process liaise and manage contractors and vendors, ensuring the project lifecycle is followed through and performed in accordance to project requirements.
Resourceful and analytical, he/she is required to understand customer needs and convince customers to adopt the proposed solutions.
**Job Responsibilities**:
**Drive Business Development Operations**
- Analyse market needs and opportunities in key accounts within assigned verticals.
- Analyse customer needs to determine the prevalent trends, dynamics and market movements.
- Conduct targeted conversations with customers to identify customer needs.
**Drive Sales and Marketing Operations**
- Develop sales proposals/tender documents.
- Execute sketch prototypes, visualisations and mock-ups for design development.
- Create engaging information graphics for stakeholders.
- Create visualisations and storyboards of user journeys.
- Translate accurate visualisations from design concepts based on communicated requirements.
**Drive Business Admin Operations**
- Perform basic risk assessments.
- Communicate requirements and activities to stakeholders.
**Drive Programme Management Activities**
- Perform administrative support for project management processes.
- Estimate resources required for project activities.
**Drive Customer Service Operations**
- Resolve customer relationship management conflicts.
- Analyse customer information and needs to improve customer relationships.
- Deploy logistics services that meet customer requirements.
- Plan delivery of logistics services that meet customer requirements.
- Monitor lapses in delivery of logistics services to customers.
**Drive Logistics Solutioning Services**
- Propose ways to eliminate gaps and weaknesses in supply chain operations.
- Develop plans to implement innovative logistics solutions.
- Develop non-established supply chain operations for customers.
- Recommend innovative logistics solutions that address customer needs.
**Drive Technology Application and Integration Activities**
- Gather information on the latest technology trends.
- Facilitate key activities and milestones in technology projects.
**Job Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent professional qualifications) in Logistics/Supply Chain with at least 1 year of relevant experience in sales and business development.
- 2 years of relevant experience will be preferred.
- Possesses strong communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
- Possesses strong customer orientation and customer relationship mindset.
- Independent working trait with strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
