Singapore Thakral One Full time

Acts as the main resource of expertise within Thakral One to drive pre-sales support and solutioning for the Business Analytics division. The individual should be able to design, position and oversee execution of end-to-end solution to address business and technical challenges related to data and analytical requirements of customers

**Primary Responsibilities**:
Perform the following solutioning and pre-sales related tasks:

- Understand business challenges, requirements and the technical landscape of a customer to craft the most appropriate architecture for bids/proposals
- Translate business problems and requirements into clear problem statement, and identify possible solution and related components, for Practice validation and detailing
- Define the solution architecture may they be on-premises, on cloud or hybrid
- Gather information related to the volume and workload of the solution being designed and assist in the determination of factors / metrics needed to properly size the required infrastructure components
- Collaborate with the Practice Leads and partners in the definition of the solution architecture.
- Define/ratify the preliminary project plan/timeline.
- Define/ratify the preliminary profiles, resources required to implement the solution and their estimated dedication to the project.
- Define/ratify the preliminary Statement of Work and Assumptions for the proposed engagement.
- Author and articulate value proposition of the designed solution
- Collaborate with the Practice Leads and partners in defining the Bill of Materials for the solution being offered.
- Prepare and present various materials related to the solution being offered; Ensure that these materials are understood by the customer through discussions and other forms of correspondences, including POCs as required
- Co-own submission of proposals with identified BDM

Achieve collaboration with the different parties within Thakral One
- Provide support to the Foundation, Advanced Analytics, Customer Experience, Risk Fraud and Compliance practices, and other BA practices for their solution architecture requirements
- Collaborate with the Technology Solutions and Cloud & Infrastructure teams of Thakral One for defining any software development and technical architecture/infrastructure requirements
- Collaborate with the Practice Leads on building knowledge on key partner technologies, understanding the key features and be able to articulate their purpose

**Secondary Responsibilities**:
Support the development of the different practice of Business Analytics:

- Ensure new technologies and techniques relevant to Business Analytics are learned and adapted
- Assessing new solutions that can be offered to the market; facilitate market research, recommend feasibility and capability building, develop business plan in positioning the new solution
- Support in defining service offerings and the relevant go-to-market strategy
- Develop materials and assets that may be used to jumpstart project implementations, as well as for sales and marketing purposes; This should include solutions and services packages.
- Assist in defining and implementing standards for pre-sales and project execution such as definition of effort estimates for various complexity levels and requirements, design, and testing documentation templates
- Aid the recruitment team for defining job descriptions for external requirements and assist in the interviews and level assessment

Provide support to project delivery, managed services, and staff support engagements
- Perform quality assurance on the solution design and implementation
- Work with the Practice Leads to ensure that consulting teams adhere to best practices and the prescribed architecture
- Assist in the management of risks and issues
- Assist in the resolution of the major technical issues/project blockers
- Collaborate with Consulting and Delivery to ensure quality executions/completions of Business Analytics engagements

Additional Responsibilities
- Attend trainings and webinars to keep abreast of new technologies and trends
- Conduct internal knowledge sharing sessions, also facilitate public and private training and forum related to practice
- Facilitate enhancement of the Thakral One Academy courseware/offerings related to Business Analytics, and assist to other practices as necessary

**Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities**:

- Must have Experience in designing and developing Business Analytics projects such as, but not limited to:

- Big Data/Data Warehouse Solutions
- Data Governance
- Advance Analytics
- Customer Experience
- Risk, Fraud and Compliance
- Deployment to Cloud
- Knowledge in open-source languages/frameworks such as Java/Scala/Python + Spark is desired
- Certification on Microsoft, Cloudera, AWS, or SAS is desired
- Must have experience in leading teams, building practices
- Must have experience in performing solutioning and pre-sales activities
