Looking for In-House Legal Advisor (Property Investments and Machinery)

Integrated Packaging Solutions is a leading paper packaging carton converter company with a strong focus on manufacturing and property investments. We specialize in producing high-quality paper packaging solutions for various industries while strategically investing in properties to support our business growth and expansion.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated in-house legal advisor to join our team and provide comprehensive legal guidance and support in all aspects of property and machinery investments.

Scope: As an in-house legal advisor specializing in property and machinery investments, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice, drafting and reviewing contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and mitigating legal risks associated with our investment activities. Your role will involve working closely with various internal stakeholders, including senior management, finance, operations, and external partners.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide legal guidance and support on property and machinery investment matters, including due diligence, acquisitions, leases, and sales transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to property and machinery investments, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and protecting the company's interests.
- Conduct legal research and stay up to date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to property and machinery investments.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with investment activities and propose risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with legal requirements and provide legal advice on operational matters related to property and machinery investments.
- Liaise with external legal counsel and manage relationships with third-party partners, such as brokers, vendors, and contractors.
- Participate in negotiations and provide legal support during dispute resolution and litigation processes, if required.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate internal stakeholders on legal matters related to property and machinery investments.

Qualifications:

- Active membership in the state bar association and in good standing.
- 2+ years of experience as a legal advisor or attorney, preferably with a focus on property and machinery investments or related areas such as real estate or corporate law.
- Strong knowledge of property and machinery investment laws, regulations, and best practices
- Degree from an accredited law school.
- Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts and agreements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and protecting the company's interests.
