Job Overview:
The lab technician is responsible for performing standardized qualitative and quantitative tests on work-in-progress and finished products to ensure compliance with company and/or customer quality standards.

Responsibilities:

- Perform tests according to internal & external standard, test plans and other technical documents independently
- To prepare test WI according to internal and external standards
- To handle samples and other material needed for testing in accordance with relevant processes and instructions
- Deliver test data sheet within required schedule
- Assist the test engineer to witness design verification plan test at contract manufacturer sites or third party lab
- Familiar with the lab test equipment and tools and use thems in accordance with their intended purpose and user manual
- Maintain test equipment calibration
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the laboratory
- Perform all tasks in accordance with established Safe Work Practices, Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Management Systems

- Diploma in engineering or a related discipline
- Prior experience in appliances testing and project management skills is preferred.
- Demonstrated track record in problem solving skills.
- Organised, detailed oriented and possessed an analytical mind.
- A self-starter and an independent worker, you operate with mínimal supervision.
- An effective communicator with good written skills.
- Some business travel is required
