**Job Description**:
This role is responsible for managing and delivering high impact and complex projects. He/she needs to ensure the outcome aligned with security standards, performance optimization and scalability needs from NUS.

He/she needs to have deep technical know-how and hands-on experience in various technologies including but not limited to routing, switching, wireless, network security, data analytics, infrastructure integration, etc. He/she is required to plan and design complex network infrastructure solution, prepare detailed architectural plan, perform technical evaluation of new technologies and recommend improvement as needed.

He/she is the next level of technical escalation point from operations team to drive the troubleshooting process, for major incidents or complex issues that span across multiple domain of technologies.

Duties & Responsibilities

Project Planning and Procurement

Prepare and submit project request paper to justify and secure project funding. Prepare the procurement paper (Tender/RFQ/ITQ) and submit the paper for management approval and paper publication. Manage the procurement timeline and conduct tender evaluation and award.

Project Management and Delivery

Manage project progress, project risks, project issues, budget utilization, project billings, team resources allocation and regular project status reporting to steering committees. Ensure completion of project closure checklist (includes documentation) and conduct knowledge transfer / handover to operation team to ensure smooth day 2 support.

Network Solutioning

Drive and guide the project team to establish detailed network design, systems & functional UAT plan, implementation plan, etc. Lead and coach the project team in solution implementation and ensure the outcome meets all the specifications stated in low level design document.Explore, evaluate and lead the proof-of-concepts of new networking technologies and advocate products adoption to better align IT with business and resolve operation challenges.

Operation Support

Provide advanced level support to operation team during major incident to resolve complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis and provide incident updates to management.Strategize the troubleshooting process by leading the team to drawing board to map out the options, dependencies, impact assessment, tactical approach, strategic approach, etc.Qualifications

Bachelor degree in computer science or relevant fieldsIndustry certifications such CCIE, CCNP, etc.At least 7 years working experience on network infrastructure design, development and operationAt least 5 years project management experience with successful completion of multiple large-scale projectsDeep technical skills in related network areas including LAN, WAN, Wireless, Network securityMore Information
