Hummingbird Bioscience is an innovative clinical-stage biotech company focused on developing precision therapies against hard-to-drug targets to improve treatment outcomes. - and best-in-class precision therapies in oncology and autoimmunity, in collaboration with global partners in academia and industry.
- Reporting to the VP, Strategy, the Senior Manager/Associate Director will assist in charting the strategic direction of the company over the short-, medium
- and long-term planning horizons, informed by a keen understanding of the company positioning in the global biotech landscape.
- Develop frameworks and workflows to enable the company to scale business activities and optimize use of resources to generate value
- Work cross-functionally within the company and with Hummingbird Senior Management team to develop and implement strategies and projects across departments to align with the overall company priorities. This would extend beyond corporate functions, to core research & development functions.
- Support multiple external stakeholder engagements, including financing activities and conversations with key development partners.
- Opportunities for secondment into other functions to initiate and execute on key projects critical to driving value for the business
- An ambassador for Hummingbird Bioscience and its mission and values

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in corporate planning or strategic planning, biopharma experience would be an advantage.
- Demonstrated track record working with cross-functional teams and work streams
- Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills with ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong presentation and analytical skills, experience in management consultancy an advantage
- Ability to work independently and with the flexibility needed to work for a multinational clinical-stage biotech company undergoing rapid growth
