CINTRA is a French-Singaporean international joint laboratory, a CNRS International Research Laboratory under the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, with three partners: the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS); Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Thales.

We are seeking to hire a Research Fellow to support the project on catalysis for electroreforming of biomass.

Key Responsibilities:
- To develop process for electroreforming of biomass to chemicals and fuels- To fabricate device prototypes of plasmon-enhanced electroreforming of biomass- Conduct research and experiments at the MAE laboratory facilities, utilizing equipment such as electrochemistry testing tools- Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as ball mill, microwave oven, electrochemistry testing tools and other relevant instruments- Provide regular feedback and support to ensure students' progress and success

Job Requirements:
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science or related field- Experience in electrochemical conversion research project- Working experience on biomass pretreatment is essential- Good publication record- Graduate from a reputable university
