**What's the Role**

The role of **Snr Manager, Manufacturing Engineering, **is based in Singapore and** **reports into the Director, Manufacturing Engineering.

Accountabilities include but are not limited to:

- Establish priorities and plans to manage business unit-focused manufacturing engineering teams with the primary responsibility to Engineer Manufacturing Processes necessary to ensure Safe, Quality deliveries of systems, spares and retrofit kits in Singapore operations sites.
- Align manufacturing engineering strategy, goals and objectives to achieve the business goals by leading the team effectively and efficiently, with primary focus on product delivery to global customers.
- Lead a team of multidisciplined manufacturing engineers in resolving daily operation issues in semiconductor equipment manufacturing.
- Identify, commit & implement process and system needed to achieve safety improvements, manufacturing quality improvements, cost reduction, cycle time & lead time reduction.
- Establish & ensure work instruction methods & documentation (i.e. OMS/work instructions, test procedures, inspection checklists, etc.) are correct & maintained to appropriate engineering controls.
- Own the quality of implementation and compliance for Manufacturing Readiness Reviews (MRRs) as part of the Product Life Cycle process for new product transition to manufacturing
- Manage timely execution of Engineering Change Orders (ECO). Influence peer group to make the Engineering change beneficial for effective and productive outcome.
- Manage tooling and test equipment requirements. Innovation and automation in implementing tooling and test equipment to manufacturing efficiency and customer quality
- Innovative in implementing change in the business process to deliver excellence and value add from the Engineering team
- Drive continuous improvement within the Internal Factory and at Contract Manufacturing Outsource Partners
- Generate and maintain employee development and training to build an effective and future ready team
- Proven experience in supporting Contract Manufacturer on outsourced modules, Dual sourcing/ 2nd Sourcing projects.

**What Will Make You Successful?**
- Minimum 10 years of experience working in a capital equipment manufacturing or engineering environment. Currently holding Managerial/Supervisory role.
- Experience in working and interfacing with cross functional teams. Demonstrated ability to influence cross functional organization and drive changes.
- Prior experience in implementing Lean concepts through manufacturing engineering; Modular assemblies, Feeder lines, Off-line assemblies, and flow line.
- Familiar with the following operational excellence tools but not limited to; Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, 8D, PDCA, Microsoft Project, Six Sigma, and ROI.
- Preferred experience within the Semiconductor Equipment industry in Manufacturing, Quality and/or engineering roles in equipment assembly and test.
- Strong understanding of bill of material structure and revision changes and how it affects manufacturing and procurement
- Ability to relate Engineering changes in equipment to the semiconductor process
