DESIGNATION : Educational Technology Consultant, IITS

RESPONSIBILITIES
- This positoin is for Office of Integrated Information Technology Services (IITS).
- Monitor the developments in the education industry, identify relevant educational solutions and services to improve university’s competitive edge and productivity.
- Conduct feasibility study, design effective implementation process, drive adoption and coordinate rollout activities.
- Conduct user training, build rapport with users and provide direction and support for different types of Teaching and Learning solutions.
- Design user interface and flow for learning solutions.
- Gather user requirements and feedback, initiate improvements in existing solutions to create robust, scalable, mobile friendly solutions and cater to varied Teaching and Learning needs.
- Manage vendors and conduct testing for outsourced projects or 3rd party tools.
- Create and update user manuals, websites, brochures according to standards and guidelines set and perform quality checks on these materials regularly.
- Run surveys and generate reports to measure usage and effectiveness of solutions/services.
- Work independently or with other members to implement solutions/services.
- Coordinate and support eAssessment activities.
- Ensure timely completion of eLearning projects and produce quality output.
- Manage contract resources in project, training and support activities.
- Participate/present in local, regional or international conferences.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree/Master in Information Technology/Instructional Design/Educational Technology/Communications, Business & Technology.
- Past experience in new technology solutions marketing and implementation.
- Experience in feasibility study, evaluation, training and implementation of IT Learning Solutions.
- Knowledge of Instructional Design and some experience in Learning Analytics will be advantages.
- Experience in user experience design in blended, online and mobile learning.
- Ability to conduct user requirement study and software testing independently.
- Pro-active, independent, dedicated and responsible.
- Creative, innovative and result-oriented.
- A dynamic team player with good written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong passion in learning and prior experience in Change Management will be advantages.
