**The duties of the Research Fellow include**:

- Model development and implementation for large scales.
- Application of quantitative analytical methods to large datasets.
- The formulation and testing of ecological hypotheses.
- Presentation of results at international conferences.
- Writing and publishing in scientific journals.

**Qualifications**
- PhD in earth system science, climate science, physical geography, ecology or a related field (preferably less than 3 years postdoctoral experience).
- Proficient coding skills in at least one of Matlab, R and Python.
- Experience working with terrestrial biosphere models or earth system models.
- Experience with plant ecophysiology and remote sensing is a plus.
- Strong numerical and communication skills.
- Evidence of ability to publish results in relevant journals.
- An ability to work in an integrated team environment.
