**[What the role is]**

Assist Deputy General Manager in strategic planning for the development of programmes that are in line with organisation’s objectives and meeting community needs in areas of Partnership & Outreach and Corporate Communications.

**[What you will be working on]**

Partnership & Outreach
- Lead and guide a team of Senior Managers/Managers/ Executives to work closely with NW CDC Council Members to conceptualize, plan and implement community programmes (ie fund-raising, ground up projects, youth group, food distribution drive ) to meet the needs of the community.
- Coordinates and oversees development and implementation of joint projects/programmes with community stakeholders.
- Build and strengthen relationship with existing stakeholders (ie schools, corporate, community) and developed new networks and contacts to support NW CDC programmes.
- Plan and implement partnership strategy, prioritising key stakeholders to engage, as well as the level and nature of collaborations with different partners.
- Coach, develop, supervise and guide Senior Managers and Managers to ensure targets set are met. To plan relevant targets for and with Managers.
- Manage staff administrative matters such as performance appraisals and leave.
- Coordinate and submit progress reports, provide feedback, recommend changes and improvements to NWCDC’s Council.
- Ensure work plans and progress on projects are well communicated and updated to committee IC, council and management on a regular basis.

Corporate Communications
- Lead and guide a team of Senior Managers/ Managers/ Executives to develop and implement internal and external communication plans and publicity initiatives for major CDC projects.
- Supervise the handling of public enquiries/feedback and requests from external agencies such as display of publicity materials, filming/photo-taking at CDC
- Supervise and guide the team to ensure optimum utilisation of human resources in achieving CDC targets.
- Supervise branding, publicity and media matters. This includes the development and implementation of creative, practical and strategic editorial concepts for newsletters, new media and other forms of publicity.
- Manage Corporate Communications budget
- Lead the crafting of media advisory, media releases for CDC activities and prepare media kit
- Supervise in formulating, implementing and reviewing plans/programmes/projects for the development of CDC to achieve community goals

**[What we are looking for]**

Other ad-hoc duties not covered under main responsibilities and duties.
- Lead or contribute in Task Forces/Committees as required.

Performs other duties as assigned by Deputy General Manager such as leading Partnership and Outreach projects, reviews, and communications with other departments at NW CDC.
