You will be part of the Global Analytics team with members across APAC and EMEA.
About the Role

**Responsibilities**:
- Covering regional Base Oils markets, focus on Asia
- Producing monthly price forecast analysis with a high level of accuracy and balance. Current emphasis on tracking of various ongoing project investments and closures for ongoing contribution to the company database
- Writing insightful analysis explaining production costs, margins, price trends and market developments for the region including regional overviews and outlooks

- Tracking changes in demand, supply, trade flows as well as related markets. Contribute to updating relevant databases, building on our well-established methodology and models
- Reporting on complex topics in an engaging and timely manner using data visualisations
**Requirements**:
- At least 5 years of experienced in a relevant industry or as a commodity analyst
- Have knowledge of the base oils, including economics. Demonstrable experience with a key industry player or other research / consultancy organisation
- Have good analytical capabilities, with extensive modelling experience
- Have appreciation on market fundamentals and other key market developments pertaining to the base oils market
- Have understanding around the shifting dynamics within the transportation segment and the impact on base oil product supply / demand
- Have excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Have the ability to present and communicate ideas and solutions to clients
