**About the Department**:
The **Technology and Operations **function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

**Responsibilities**:
To be successful in this role, it is critical for the Data Modeller to possess:

- Strong functional knowledge of Retail and Wholesale Bank products and business processes
- Strong knowledge & experience of mapping attributes from various product systems and channels
- Problem solving & analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- In depth knowledge of technology tools stack in global banking environment is mandatory
- Good communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to engaging multiple stakeholders across the business, operations & technology
- Implementing large scale projects involving mix of waterfall and agile approaches

**Job Requirements**:
**Data Modeling**
- Experience in designing financial services data models
- Domain expertise in industry standards data models such as FSDM & dimensional models (STAR schema) data model, to support reporting need
- Good knowledge of designing models using a data modeling tool i.e. ERWIN
- Architecture & design - Good understanding in relational Database like Teradata to support and build industry standard data mart for various line of businesses in the bank

**Data Mapping**
- Data profiling experience
- Data Modelling & Mapping experience

**Data Governance**
- Good experience in implementing data governance processes
- Experience in doing data profiling, implementing data quality rules & providing end to end data lineage
- Knowledge & experience with reference data management, data standards, expertise with Teradata MDM

**Data Warehouse and Big Data tools**
- Must have good knowledge and working experience in Teradata (SQL, BTEQ scripting) and Hadoop (Hive, Impala, Kudu).
- Good to have experience in working with No SQL as well as virtualized Database Environment
- ETL & Data governance tools - Informatica PC, DQ, MM, MDM

**BI Tools**
- Working knowledge on how BI tools integrate with Data Mart and Data Lake using BI tools (Qlik Sense, Power BI)
