**Roles & Responsibilities**

***:
The Driver is responsible for a pickup and delivery of shipments of World Courier customers. In addition, he is responsible for lodgement of and clearance of shipments from the airport and other related tasks.

**PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Pickup and deliver goods as instructed by the Dispatch

2. Ensure requested supplies are provided to customers

3. Always be courteous and helpful to World Courier customers and consignees.

4. Confirm that required paperwork is completed by shipper/consignee.

5. Double check and/or record pieces at time of delivery, collection and transfer.

6. Use initiative and anticipate problems that may occur with deliveries.

7. Keep Dispatch Officer informed of progress of any deliveries/ delays.

8. Drive safely and take care of company vehicles.

9. Make packaging for warehouse stocks and van supplies as required.

10. Monitor packaging materials and advise Operations Supervisor when stock is running low.

11. Be prepared to work overtime during busy times.

12. Request additional duties during quiet times.

13. Airport duties as directed (including import and export).

14. Work shifts and weekends as rostered.

15. Any other duties assigned

- Drivers’ License Class 3 and Class 4
