**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create detailed P&IDs using industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, AVEVA P&ID, SmartPlant)
- Work collaboratively with process, mechanical, and instrumentation engineers to develop accurate process flow representations
- Interpret process data sheets and engineering specifications to ensure accurate system representation
- Maintain drawing revision control and manage document change requests
- Ensure consistency across related documentation including PFDs, line lists, and equipment datasheets
- Perform quality checks and verifications to maintain design integrity
- Update existing P&IDs based on as-built information and field modifications
- Support interdisciplinary design reviews and HAZOP studies
- Complete drawing packages for client approval and construction purposes

**Required Qualifications**:

- 10+ years of experience as a P&ID Designer in the oil and gas industry
- Proficiency with CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and specialized P&ID software
- Thorough understanding of piping systems, process equipment, instrumentation, and control systems
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards including ISA, API, ASME B31.3, and relevant international standards
- Experience with tag numbering conventions and equipment coding systems
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and process data sheets
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, drafting technology, or related field
- Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., AVEVA E3D, SmartPlant 3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D)
- Knowledge of equipment specification and line sizing principles
- Familiarity with major project execution methodologies
- Experience in multiple sectors of oil and gas (upstream, midstream, downstream)
- Understanding of process safety management principles
- Experience with international projects and familiarity with regional standards
