**JOB DESCRIPTION**
The APAC Engage Product Lead, is leading the effort driving ENGAGE Adoption in APAC. The APAC Product Lead will lead the business strategy in order to ensure successful growth of the ENGAGE business in ASIA, paired with a systematic approach towards sales management. By closely working with the IPB ENGAGE Lead, you will define the product vision, go-to-market strategy, positioning, goals and objectives, in order to maximize the business value of the offering in APAC. You will also partner closely with the APAC Regional Heads of Investments and Advice, Solutions Product Development, Marketing, and Senior Stakeholders on driving product strategy, knowledge, engagement, and offering.
Core Responsibilities
- Educate the APAC Advisor community to value our advisory product proposition. Key to the advisory products’ success is Advisors’ deep understanding of the product offering - especially how to position it versus similar products that competitors have in APAC as well as how to position it in the context of our Goals Based Planning and 3Es framework - Entrust (discretionary), Engage (advisory) and Execute (brokerage).
- Client engagement through external presentations and group meetings, and related external/client events
- Understand client and advisor needs. Invest in a deep understanding of the regional business opportunity, advisor & client needs and competitive landscape to inform which initiatives and enhancements to pursue.
- Partnering with APAC Regional and Market Leadership to define, execute and track the agreed sales management strategy.
- Embody true “customer-obsession” in identifying and leveraging user data, key performance metrics, industry trends, and varying forms of client and advisor feedback.
- Develop marketing and digital strategy for the advisory product (ENGAGE) in APAC. In partnership with the IPB Engage Lead (Head of Advisory), Marketing, WM Academy, Solutions, and the Business, focus on developing both an internal and external campaign composed of digital content, WM Academy videos, and more to ensure the best in class experience for both clients and advisors.
- Partner with the Client Skills Training Team in the design, preparation and delivery of advisor training sessions (both new and existing advisors)
- Partner with Product Solutions and Investment and Engagement to incorporate advisory into all components of J.P. Morgan product offering.
- Ongoing partnership with Solutions, ensure that all market innovation is captured and incorporated into product pallet of the advisory product and ENGAGE is part of the daily dialogue inside Solutions. Our competitors are constantly evolving, we must be attuned to that and always a step ahead by consistently self-evaluating and innovating.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- Fluency in Mandarin is required as servicing clients from Greater China is part of the coverage.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial services in dealing with clients and markets, preferably with experience in wealth management, asset management.
- Proven ability to execute via successful internal partnerships with other multiple teams.
- Keen understanding of the Private Bank investment business
- Influence peers and senior leaders with diverse points of view and build consensus.
- Excellent leadership skills - with a focus on investment products, marketing, projects, teams and employees
- Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to senior audiences with poise and confidence, and inspire the advisor population to support business growth of such offering
