**THE ROLE - **Electronics and System Engineer

**Responsibilities**
- Manage new part/product development activities, including gather requirements, supplier selection, verification, validation and compliance.
- Work as the binding force of R&D team to support and gel all design and development activities
- Function as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for electrical/electronics and systems engineering
- Use established systems engineering tools and methods to bring clarity to projects.
- Translate our product vision into clear and concise user, business, and product requirements for suppliers to design products.
- Develop/review product architectures and break them down to functional, quantifiable and logical requirements.
- Work with project teams and stakeholders to ensure the integrity and clarity of engineering requirements, ensuring that all expectations are communicated effectively to suppliers.
- Work closely with supplier and project team to ensure part/product is compliant to requirements, conduct DFMEA, risk analysis, failure analysis, verification and validation
- Create and manage verification and validation test plans with suppliers
- Review suppliers’ design and ensure that design meets product requirements

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- Experience in creating technical documentation such as specification, schematics, technical drawings, system block diagrams, verification test plans etc.
- Experience in performing systems breakdown, architecture definition and using functional analysis techniques resulting clear requirements.
- Experience with standard electronics laboratory and test equipment
- Some firmware and statistical experience will be a plus.
- A clear, logical thinker with attention to detail and process sound fundamentals in engineering and critical analysis.
- Good commercial awareness with pragmatic approach to balance cost and value with quality and reliability
- Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills
- Independent and with a can-do attitude
