**Responsibilities**:
- Based in Singapore, this is a hands-on role where the Accounts Payable Lead is responsible to drive process improvements in the Accounts Payable team and ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments to suppliers.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide day to day support of the Accounts Payable team
- Process suppliers’ invoices and staff claims
- Troubleshoot issues and identify opportunities to improve transactions processing
- Manage the performance and job allocation of direct reports
- Provide guidance and coaching to direct reports in daily accounting & operational matters
- Monthly AP sub-ledger to GL reconciliation
- Monthly tracking, analysis and reporting of key finance metrics
- Provide monthly analysis and reporting
- Provide general support and point of contact for internal stakeholders
- Ensure timely and accurate invoice entry and payments made to suppliers
- Ensure compliance to the company's policies and procedures
- Create and/or update process documentation
- Drive and manage process improvements and stretch assignments
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of exeprience in the Accounts Payable function with previous supervisory experience
- Minimum Diploma in Accountancy, Business or other related disciplines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience in using an ERP system, preferrably JDE
- Attention to detail
- Able to manage high volume in a fast paced environment
- Experience working in a global diverse team
- General Accounting knowledge
- Good communication skills
