**What the role is**
- As an Education Workshop Instructor, you will support teachers in the delivery of Design and Technology and Applied Subjects’ practical lessons, assist students’ coursework as well as ensure that lessons in the workshops are conducted in a smooth and safe manner.

**What you will be working on**
- Prepare teaching resources and set up workshops/special rooms for practical lessons and assessments
- Guide students in their projects, in consultation with teachers, including supporting the teaching of practical lessons
- Demonstrate and supervise students in the use of tools, equipment and machines
- Troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth and safe delivery of the practical lessons
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the workshops, special rooms and stores including upkeeping of tools, equipment, machines and training kits to ensure that they are in good working condition
- Look into budget planning and procure tools, equipment, machines and materials required for the conduct of lessons
- Maintain inventories of items and materials in the workshop by conducting regular stock-takes and replenishing them when necessary

**What we are looking for**
- Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work in teams and troubleshoot issues
- Preferably with relevant prior experience, familiarity in handling machines, equipment and tools that are used in secondary schools as well as knowledge of workshop safety requirements
