**Job Summary**:
As a Training Support Assistant, the incumbent assists the Lifeskills Coach in all training related matters of the clients in their training class, at TOUCH Centre for Independent Living (TCIL), and support the operation and preparation of training materials for Activities of Daily Living (ADL), Community Living skills (CLS), and Enrichment lessons.
**Principal Responsibilities and Duties**:
**Assist and Support in Training Class and Preparation of Training Materials**
- Assist Lifeskills Coach in conducting training in the area of Activities of Daily Living (ADL), Community Living skills (CLS), and Enrichment lessons.
- Ensure safety of clients at all times during training class and operating hours.
- Encourage client’s participation in training classes.
- Assist Lifeskills Coach in the preparation of training materials when required.
- Maintain a courteous and respectful 2-way communication with Lifeskills Coach to be kept informed of activities at the Centre, welfare of client, conduct and progress of clients.
**Support Operations of the Centre**
- Ensure safe management measures are complied with (eg. Temperature screening of clients).
- Provide administrative support when required (eg. Attendance taking).
- Provide support and assiatnce in delivery of programmes and services to clients.
**Support Clients’ needs in terms of Activities of Daily Living**
- Support client in some areas of ADL when necessary (eg change mask, help in walking, cut lunch to smaller pieces, etc)
**Essential Skills and Qualifications**:
- Preferably to have at least GEC “O” Level or NITEC
- Basic conversational skills in English.
- Observant and safety conscious.
- Preferably with relevant experience in working with Persons with Intellectual Disability.
- Health care experience will be bonus.
