Support Teacher Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our Early Intervention for Children (EIC) Services, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and development of young children.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Lead Teacher in classroom management and engagement of children.
  • Conduct small group activities, such as Circle Time, to stimulate adaptive functioning and school readiness skills.
  • Support therapeutic interventions as instructed by the Lead Teacher.
  • Ensure students are well supervised during contact time in the centre.

Additional Duties:

  • Brainstorm and plan activities to support students' learning.
  • Prepare teaching resources and materials.
  • Support students' toileting needs and maintain a clean and safe learning environment.
  • Maintain good communication with parents and attend team meetings, workshops, and training sessions.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications, such as GCE 'N' / 'O' / 'A' Level or NITEC in a non-related discipline.
  • Experience working with young children preferred; fresh graduates welcome to apply.
  • Patience, passion, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
