Hiring company has its operations in Singapore serving the Asia Pacific region and is wholly owned subsidy of Europe-base MNC. They are in the integrated security communications supplying hardware/ software for the environments with their Intelligent Critical Communication Solutions. **THE POSITION**

The Buyer cum Planner is motivated and detail-oriented individual and is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supply of components, parts and equipment required for the company's operations. It is key role in purchasing and coordinating schedule to ensure utilization of resources and timely delivery.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Prepare and place purchase order and monitor delivery schedules from Suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Liaise with Suppliers for pull-in or push-out of delivery schedules from time to time.
- Ensure that the ETA for all orders is updated timely.
- Ensure that all incoming items are processed timely.
- Obtain replacement schedules from Suppliers on rejected goods.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain relationship to ensure constant supply.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, and operations and provide support base on customer demand.
- Analyze data related to purchase, inventory levels, supplier performance and generate report to management.

**CANDIDATE’S REQUIREMENTS**
- Qualification in Supply Chain or Operations or Engineering or other related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Purchasing/ Sourcing/ Procurement.
- Teamwork within and across departments.
- Multi-tasking and attention to details.
- Communication and negotiation skills and record of vendor management.
- Must possess skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Communication skills, able to correspond in English, both verbal and written.
