**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Contribute both functional and automation testing for critical projects and RTNs.
- Work with Scrum team. Provide accurate project progress/status reports to the management and PMO.
- Responsible for ensuring team follow defined Test processes/procedural guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Development, Product and System Architecture teams to analyze, debug and resolve issues reported by testing team.
- Create, update, maintain and execute automation suites and other testing tools as needed for use by TE.
- Investigate bugs using various available tools and logs.
- Establish and maintain structured testing methodology, especially around automation.
- Respond to inquiries from users and technical support regarding functions and operations of software programs.
- Identify process improvements, error trends and/or the root causes and make recommendations for remedies to colleagues and management.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
- Participate in defining and communicating best practices.
- Help build test automation practice activities.
- Individual contributor role.
- You coach and mentor your team members and help them grow professionally.
- You will lead meeting and discussions with cross-functional and non-technical teams.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

**Qualifications**:

- At least 6+ years of experience in Test Engineering.
- Strong understanding of software development and test engineering processes and methodologies.
- Strong Analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills
- Has strong sense of teamwork
- Basic knowledge in Mainframe/ETL/Reporting tools.
- Good understanding of Build tools like GIT
- Strong knowledge of database query tools like DB2, MySQL and ability to write and run complex queries for data validation
- Ability to deliver results on multiple projects in a complex and fast-moving environment
- Ability to generate creative and innovative solutions for test challenges and constraints
- Solid understanding of black box and white box testing, performance testing, test automation, requirements traceability and general test process reporting
- Experience in using industry standard test management tools (e.g. ALM / Quality Center, Clear Quest, JIRA).
- Strong ability to work independently and as a team to manage one's time effectively and efficiently
- Ability to multi task and handle multiple competing priorities with mínimal direction from management
- Experience in Java scripting language and Selenium WebDriver preferred
