**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our team. The Accounting Associate will be responsible for providing essential accounting support to our clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and professional environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation of financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Perform bookkeeping duties, including the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns.
- Support the preparation of corporate tax computations and tax returns.
- Assist with payroll processing and related statutory filings (e.g., CPF contributions, IR8A forms).
- Liaise with clients to gather necessary financial information and address queries.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
- Stay updated on relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in Singapore.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field.
- Two years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a public accounting firm. Fresh graduates with strong academic records and a keen interest in accounting are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with corporate tax preparation in Singapore.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and relevant regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in client communication and relationship management.
