Senior Risk Analyst

In this role as a Risk Specialist in Wise’s second line Risk Management Team, you will be a key contributor in, and risk partner for the delivery of the risk management framework in Asia. This role is an exciting opportunity for you if you have some risk management experience and are looking to do impactful work. The role will report to and be supported by the Head of APAC Risk.

**Here’s what will you be doing**:

- Maintaining risk registers for the markets with focus on the key risks, including risk identification, assessment of risks as per risk methodology, supporting business in remediation of risks.
- Implementation risk appetite statements and key risk indicators for the countries, including monitoring of risks, analysis, reporting and proposing remediations if required.
- Determining and presenting the risk profile to the board of directors or to risk committees and to group risk committees.
- Working closely with first line stakeholders to ensure that operational risk policies and frameworks are adhered to.
- Closely work on the risk areas such as incidents, issues and risk assessments.
- Lead the efforts to develop and manage one of the key risks for the organisation such as BCM, technology risks or outsourcing risks
- Creating awareness within the first line on risk management including training etc.

**This role would be great for someone who has**:

- Experience in mid level risk management.
- Good understanding of systems, management information and reporting systems.
- Demonstrated track record in second line risk management function
- Worked on implementation of outsourcing or technology risk management within an organisation.
- Work independently and flexibly within a fast paced environment.
- Comfortable with change and managing different priorities and working with different stakeholders.
- worked in or familiar with the payments industry.
