**What the role is**

The Singapore Grand Prix is a motor race on the calendar of the FIA Formula One World Championship. Started in 2008, Singapore’s F1 race is the first night race in the race calendar and remains Asia’s only street circuit and night race. The race experience is complemented by a collection of lifestyle events under Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS), which provides another unique value proposition that further differentiates Singapore F1 from others. The F1 team is responsible for leading the whole-of-government effort to execute a world class event and showcase Singapore's ability to hold a large-scale sporting event to reap tourism receipts, visitor arrivals and international media value.
This role is to perform secretariat role to organise F1 community initiatives, represent STB and stakeholders' interests to ensure agencies’ security and emergency response readiness, manage legal and comms matters, to mentor and guide the hospitality team and to lead and drive new motorsports-related projects.

**What you will be working on**

1. To work with race promoter, SGP Pte Ltd and other sub-comm members (PA, SIA) to organise F1 community initiatives to raise public interest and awareness in, and garner positive public support for the Singapore F1 Grand Prix.
2. To represent STB and stakeholders' interests and ensure agencies’ security and emergency response readiness during the SG F1 race while not compromising any circuit setup or stakeholder interest.
3. To manage legal matters on the Facilitation Agreement between STB and SGP.
4. To lead and setup the Joint Ops Command (JOC) in accordance to STB and other agencies' requirement, launch the ITT for the JOC setup and work with the appointed hotel for successful setup of the JOC.
5. To manage sub-comm budget, put up budget paper for the community and to facilitate timely disbursement of the grant.
6. To mentor and guide the hospitality team, in delivering the hospitality suites (Singapore Suite and Temasek Suite)
7. Lead and drive new motorsports-related projects (e.g. MotoGP, Formula E) to bring in events that could add vibrancy to Singapore's sporting landscape and event calendar, as well as enhance Singapore's reputation as a leisure destination.

**What we are looking for**
- At least 3 years of working experience
- Project management and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-driven individual and good team player
- Relationship building and stakeholder management skills, ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of Government procurement and compliance policies
It would be good to have the following:

- Business acumen with the ability to think strategically
- Good writing and presentation skills
- Good understanding of P&L analysis
