**Job Brief**

**Key Responsibilities**
Reporting to the CTO, your responsibilities include:
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable codes

Follows best coding practices in daily work
- Be proactive in understanding new server-side technologies and features
- Be involved in other stages of the development lifecycle
- Organise tasking for the tech team to fulfil business requirements
- Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
- Provide advice and guidance to a team to create quality tech solution
- Actively assist CTO in problem solving

**Qualifications & Skills
**Requires at least 6 years’ experience in web development with.Net (core and MVC)

Requires thorough understanding of Database functions (SQL Server, MySQL)

Requires thorough understanding of Web Services protocols such as REST, SOAP and API design for extensibility and portability

Requires thorough knowledge in managing Cloud Hosting accounts (AWS, GCP)

Requires thorough knowledge in managing Version Control systems (Git, SVN)

Requires knowledge and prior experience in Containerisation and/or DevOps

Strong experience in leading teams in Scrum/Agile development methodologies

Demonstrates strong capabilities in other server-side languages (eg. Java, PHP, NodeJS)

Experience with working on microservices is a plus

Experience in Deployment Orchestration (eg. Kubernetes) is a plus

Experience with creating User Interfaces for Web Applications (HTML, CSS, Javascript)

Experience with working on distributed systems and server clusters

Experience in React is a plus

Excellent communication skills and work ethics

Disciplined and independent

Be creative and innovative

Well-versed in current server-side technological trends
