**Job Description**:
DC & Network Optimization Specialist /Manager

Job Summary:
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Support RSCA leadership in identifying priority projects in support of 3M Supply Chain’s COST, CASH and SERVICE strategic objectives.
- Lead end-to-end supply chain optimization modelling projects to support strategic supply chain decision making, enabling significant cost, inventory, or service benefits.
- Statistical analysis work as needed (Excel, Minitab).
- Collaborate with RSCA team to identify modelling data & process requirements for SAP (future-state).
- Benchmark internal to enable 3M supply chain learning, identify modelling opportunities, and make connections.
- Other duties and responsibility as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Mathematics, Engineering discipline, Operations Research, or a related field.
- Minimum of one (1) year work experience in 3M Supply Chain (plant, division, business, or corporate).

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Mathematics, Engineering discipline, Operations Research or a related field.
- One to three years of experience in one or more data science areas such as optimization, simulation, or statistical modelling.
- 2+ years operational supply chain or manufacturing experience.
- Excellent team, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Project management skills.
- Flexibility, initiative, and ability to find innovative solutions.
- Familiarity with Lean Thinking and Theory of Constraints.
- Ability to take poorly defined problems and convert them into questions for which practical solutions can be defined.
- Natural curiosity for data mining, analysis, and optimization.
- Experience in data acquisition (SQL).
- Statistics education & experience.
- Tools: SCPA, Excel, SQL, MinitabLocation: APAC Region
- Travel: Up to 30%
